Tha Bn. Ph. Purdie fhathast ag obair san roinn, o chionn 2014. Rugadh i an an Glaschu is thogadh i ann an Gàrradh na Mòine ann an Uibhist a Deas.

Out of School Team

We have three new team-members who started work in the school this January.

Miss MacLennan is from Inverness. She has roots in Uist and the Isle of Skye and went through Gaelic-medium education herself at Central Primary School and Millburn Academy.

Mrs Peteranna was born and brought up in Carnish in North Uist. She works at both BSGI and at the Gaelic Parent and Child Group in Drumnadrochit.

Mr Turner was born in York, England. He did a degree in Gaelic Studies at Aberdeen University. He sings with Inverness Gaelic Choir and the group ‘Trosg’. He is also a Gaelic writer.

Mrs Purdie continues as part of the team, since 2014. She was born in Glasgow and brought up in Garnamonie in South Uist.
